The Microbiology Laboratory works as a coordinated team to provide testing and clinical support, linking specimen reception, laboratory operations, and result reporting.

Main Service Functions

  • Specimen reception and suitability checks
  • Bacterial, fungal, and mycobacterial culture services
  • Antimicrobial susceptibility testing
  • Microscopy and PCR testing where available
  • Quality control and result review
  • Administration and user coordination

Contact 8096 for specimen submission, 9460 for result follow-up, and 9147 for the laboratory supervisor.

Note: Current staff assignments and reporting lines are governed by the latest unit-approved order or roster.
